Cookie policy

How this website uses browser storage and third-party services, and how you can control your choices.

About this policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how Real Estate Dominican Republic uses cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file a website asks a browser to store. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain a preference on your device. These technologies may be essential for a service, used to remember choices, or used by third-party content.

Our consent preference

When you make a choice in Cookie Settings, we store it in your browser’s local storage. The record contains your selection (“Essential only” or “Allow all”), the policy version, the time of your choice and the country detected when you chose. It is our record of your choice, and it controls whether Google Analytics and Google Ads may use cookies.

If you clear this website’s stored data or use another browser or device, the default for your region applies again. When you withdraw consent, we keep a record of the refusal.

Essential technologies

Essential technologies support core functions such as security, page delivery and, for the private owner area, authentication and session management. They may also be used to preserve necessary technical state while you navigate the site.

These functions cannot always be disabled through our Cookie Settings because the requested service may not work without them. You can block or delete them in your browser, but parts of the website or owner sign-in may stop working.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (provided by Google) to measure visits to this website and the enquiries it generates, and to measure how our Google ads perform. They may record pages viewed, how you arrived (for example an ad click or search), device and browser type, approximate location, and when an enquiry form is submitted. We do not send your name, email, phone number or message to Google.

Outside the EU, UK and Switzerland, these tools run by default and may set cookies. You can switch them off at any time by opening Cookie Settings in the footer and choosing “Essential only”.

In the EU, UK and Switzerland, we ask first. “Allow all” lets Google Analytics and Google Ads use cookies. With “Essential only”, no Google cookies are set and no identifiers are stored. Google receives anonymous, cookie-free signals only, which it uses to estimate visits and conversions.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Cookie Settings. The change applies straight away. You can also use Google’s own Analytics opt-out add-on and Ad settings.

Maps, videos and external services

Property maps use Mapbox and are loaded only after you choose “Show map”. When loaded, Mapbox may receive technical information such as your internet address, browser details and map interactions under its own policies.

Some property pages may include videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or playing an embedded video can still allow YouTube or Google to receive technical and interaction information, particularly if you are signed in to their services.

Links to WhatsApp and other external websites open services controlled by those providers. Their cookies and storage are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Your choices

Use “Cookie Settings” in the website footer to choose “Essential only” or “Allow all”. You can also use your browser controls to view, block or delete cookies and local storage for this site.

Blocking all storage may prevent the site from remembering your preference and may affect secure sign-in or other requested functions. Browser controls do not necessarily remove information already sent to an external service when you previously opened a map, played a video or followed a link.

Dominican Republic context

Dominican Republic Law No. 172-13 provides general protections for personal data. We are not aware of a separate Dominican cookie statute equivalent to some overseas cookie regimes. We provide these controls and disclosures for transparency and to support visitors who may access the website from other jurisdictions.

If you use the website from outside the Dominican Republic, local laws may provide additional rights or require different treatment. Contact us if you have a question about how a particular technology applies to you.

Changes, questions and legal review

We may update this policy when browser technologies, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent through our Contact page.

This policy describes the website’s current technical behavior in plain language. It is general information, not legal advice, and should be reviewed by qualified Dominican counsel before being relied on as a final legal document.
