A few words from our founder
You could describe me as a ‘Serial Entrepreneur’ as I have created many start-ups and successful companies in different industries.
Leaving school at only 16 years old, the first big break in my career came working for Lloyds Bank as a trainee wealth manager and financial adviser in Southampton, UK. This successful experience built my appetite for maths and money-making.
After 5 years working with Lloyds, I decided to set up my own Financial Services Company offering all types of financial products. Within only a few years, I was running a very successful company, employing over 25 people across the South East of England. I also got the opportunity to create a Property Development Company in the mid-90s which became very famous, partly due to the strong property market and the great team I was working with.
When 2000 started, I was in a strong financial position, which is why I decided to sell both companies and retire to the French Alps with my wife and daughter. However, after only a few years of retirement, my wife and I got divorced.
I decided to stay in France and started working again as a Property Developer. In parallel, I also opened my own Real Estate Company as well as a Bar & Restaurant, all at the same time. Several years later, I again earned the right to retire, this time moving back to England to spend time with my family.
It was only in 2020 that I moved to the Caribbean, initially to enjoy life to its fullest and get away from the ‘COVID crisis’. However, with now 25 years of experience as a Property Developer, specializing in complex renovation projects and new build-sites, as well as having run a successful Real Estate Agency in France, creating my own Real Estate Agencies in the Dominican Republic seemed like the next natural step.
